Announced for the first time for the 2019 year in Disneyland Paris, the Festival of the Lion King and Jungle Book commences as a full season
A BOUNCIN’ FESTIVAL OF AWESOME FUN
Running from July to September 2019, it will feature friends from the Lion King and Jungle book such as Timon and Pumba + Baloo and King Louie.
The Chaparral Theatre will end its refurbishment in time to launch a new Lion King show for the start of the season.
Not much more is known about this new season as of yet – however it is highly rumoured to contain a new form of cavalcade/quick parade and will contain a good number of new character meet and greets.

If you love awesome adventures, you’ll roar with delight for The Lion King & Jungle Festival, a vibrant new season at Disneyland® Paris from 30th June to 22nd September 2019*. Pounce to the beat of the Pride Lands and feel the rhythm of an all-swinging, all-dancing habitat, as fresh new shows and immersive experiences add the wildest of twists to The Lion King and The Jungle Book legends. And of course, the likes of Timon & Pumbaa, Baloo and King Louie will bring the fun and even spend some time with you. Hakuna Matata!

Lead your pride to Disneyland® Paris and ‘be prepared’ to live iconic moments from The Lion King like you’ve never lived them before. Think again, as four fantastic, never-before-seen worlds add a whole new twist to this classic Disney tale. Join Baloo, King Louie and friends for a jumpin’ jungle dance-along, help explorer Mickey and his crew navigate a mysterious land, and discover a larger-than-life animal kingdom.
Bounce to the beat of a Djembe Joy Village
Lose yourself to the happiness of pulsating drumbeats with interactive musical moments in an African-inspired village. This is your chance to learn how to play the traditional African Djembe drum with the Djembe Academy and jump, jive, spin and shake to some awesome beats from the brilliant Hakuna Matamtams. Will you have jungle fun with King Louie? Or save your best moves for some joyful times with Rafiki?
NEW! Stomp to the hypnotic rhythm of Timon’s “MataDance”
Stomp over to Adventureland and line up alongside Timon, Pumbaa and some party performers for an interactive lesson of Timon’s “MataDance”. The festival vibes fill the air as you master each carefully choreographed step and Pumbaa tells his best worst jokes. Can you control your giggles and impress your friends with your very own stomping skills?
Make magical memories with Characters from classic Disney tales
Keep your eyes peeled for famous faces from The Lion King and The Jungle Book roaming Disneyland® Park. This is your chance to spend special moments with your beloved Disney Characters, such as shaking hands with the wise Rafiki and ‘oobee dooing’ with the ‘King of the Swingers’ himself, King Louie. They can’t wait to meet you!
